Day 1 Arrival in Nairobi

When you land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our team will be there to welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, you can unwind and settle in after your journey.

If you arrive early and have some energy to spare, you might consider a visit to Nairobi National Park(Optional)—a unique wildlife park right on the edge of the city. It’s not unusual to spot lions, rhinos, or giraffes with Nairobi’s skyline in the background.

Day 2 Nairobi to Watamu – Coastal Escape

After breakfast, you’ll head to the airport for your flight to Malindi International Airport. From there, enjoy a short scenic drive to Watamu, a laid-back coastal gem known for its white sandy beaches and clear turquoise waters.

Once you check in, the rest of the afternoon is yours—relax by the pool, take a walk along the beach, or simply soak in the peaceful coastal atmosphere.

Day 3 Watamu – Deep Sea Fishing & Leisure

You’ll start early today with a deep-sea fishing trip on the Indian Ocean. Setting out at dawn, you’ll spend 6 hours on the water, with the chance to catch marlin, sailfish, tuna, or kingfish depending on the season.

After the excitement, return to the hotel and take the afternoon at your own pace. You could go snorkeling, explore the nearby Watamu Marine National Park, enjoy a beach walk, or treat yourself to a relaxing spa session.

Day 4 Watamu to Tsavo East – Into the Wild

After breakfast, you’ll check out and head inland to Tsavo East National Park. The drive itself is scenic, and once inside the park, your safari begins right away with a game drive en route to your lodge.

Tsavo East is famous for its wide-open plains and red-dust elephants. Along the way, you’re likely to see elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and plenty of birdlife.

After lunch and some downtime, head out again in the late afternoon when animals are more active.

Day 5 Full Day in Tsavo East

Today is all about exploring Tsavo East at a relaxed pace. You’ll head out for game drives in the morning and afternoon, giving you plenty of time to take in the landscapes and wildlife.

A visit to Aruba Dam is often a highlight, as it attracts large numbers of animals. Keep an eye out for herds of elephants and buffalo, as well as predators like lions.

You can choose between a picnic lunch out in the bush or returning to the lodge—whichever suits your style. It’s a full day to really experience the rhythm of the wild.

Day 6 Tsavo East to Nairobi – Departure

Start your final day with an early morning game drive, one of the best times to catch wildlife at its most active.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) station for your 9:30 AM train back to Nairobi, arriving at around 2:10 PM.

From there, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
