Tour Plan
Day 1
Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Your tour begins with a 7:30 AM pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport. We will drive towards Maasai Mara, enjoying a scenic stopover at the Great Rift Valley. The journey takes approximately 5 to 6.5 hours. Upon arrival in Maasai Mara shortly afternoon, you'll check into your lodge/camp, have a hot lunch, and then head out for an exciting afternoon game drive.
After the game drive, we'll return to the lodge/camp by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM, allowing you to freshen up before savoring a freshly prepared dinner. Overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 2
Maasai Mara - Full Day Game Drives
Today's itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss it with your guide on the previous evening to plan your day. You can choose to have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive around 9:00 AM with packed lunch. Alternatively, you can opt for an early morning game drive at 6:00 AM (the best time to see animals and witness hunts/kills). Later, return to the accommodation for breakfast and relaxation before departing on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. During the afternoon, we'll stop at a picnic spot for lunch and continue the game drive until the park closes. Around 6:00 PM, we'll return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha
Morning Game Drives in Masai Mara National Reserve
Wake up early for a short morning game drive in the park. Return to the Camp/Lodge for breakfast, and at around 9:30 AM, check out and depart for Lake Naivasha, which is approximately a 5-hour drive. Upon arrival, check-in to your camp/lodge and then proceed for a boat ride to Crescent Island. Here, you'll enjoy a nature walk alongside zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes, and various bird species. Return to your camp/lodge in Naivasha for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4
Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
Boat Ride and Walking Tour in Crescent Island, Naivasha
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride to Crescent Island, where you'll enjoy a nature walk surrounded by zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes, and numerous bird species. Return by boat to Naivasha for lunch at your lodge and then head back to Nairobi.
